Why I built Solace
Hi, I'm Maya. I know this pain because I've lived it myself, and for years I couldn't find anything that actually understood what it is. So in the end, I built Solace, for women who've been told the same things I have.

The pain was never "just a period" for me, and it didn't wait for my period either. It came in waves that took the whole day, and afterwards I was expected to carry on like nothing had happened. What made it worse was that no one around me could really understand it. You can't describe this pain to someone who hasn't felt it, and after a while you stop trying.
Pills mostly did nothing, or came with side effects that scared me. The one thing that ever really helped was deep heat, but I could never take it with me, so the relief always stayed behind the moment I had to leave. Alongside it, I started doing the gentle movements a physio showed me, and slowly, over a couple of months, the bad days got a little more bearable. Not gone, nothing makes endo gone, but bearable.
So I built Solace around the one thing that helped, for women who've been where I've been. It won't cure anything, and I'll never pretend it does. It's just the deep heat you already trust, in a form you can finally take with you, and the guides that helped me come with it. If you're still waiting on surgery, or just trying to get through the days in between, I hope it helps you carry the wait a little easier, the way the right heat once helped me.
